These terms apply when you buy a Maria-Nova Vault product from cryptovault.se. Please read the section on self-custody in particular — it is the one that matters most.
All prices are shown in US dollars and include the product itself. Import duties and local taxes are not included unless the page for your country states otherwise; see the import information on our home page for an estimate for your destination.
We may offer a different price in a specific country where doing so keeps an order below that country's duty-free threshold. Where that applies, the lower figure is simply the price for that country. It is not a temporary discount and it is not conditional.
We accept cryptocurrency through NOWPayments and, in some markets, bank transfer in advance. Your order is confirmed once payment is received and, for cryptocurrency, once the transaction is confirmed on-chain. We ship after confirmation.
Cryptocurrency transactions cannot be reversed by us. If you send funds to the wrong address, or send an amount that does not match your invoice, contact us immediately at [email protected] and we will do what we can — but we cannot undo a transaction on a public blockchain.
We declare every shipment accurately, at full value, under HS code 8523.52 as an NFC smart card signing device. We do not under-declare. A false declaration would put your parcel at risk of seizure and put you at legal risk, and correct classification is precisely what secures the zero percent duty rate that applies to these goods in most markets.
Any import duty or local tax charged on delivery is payable by you as the importer. Our import estimates are exactly that — estimates. Final charges are determined by your local customs authority.
These products give you sole control of your own keys. That is the entire point of them, and it has a consequence you must accept before buying: we cannot recover your funds. We hold no copy of your keys, no backdoor and no master key. No one at this company can restore access to a wallet.
Keep your backup cards. Keep them in a different physical place from your main card. If every card belonging to a wallet is lost or destroyed, access to that wallet is gone permanently, and there is nothing we or anyone else can do about it. This is not a limitation we chose to be difficult — it is what makes the product impossible to compromise remotely.
Cards are covered against manufacturing defects for two years from delivery, in line with Swedish consumer law. If a card fails to function through no fault of your own, contact us with your order reference and we will replace it. The warranty does not cover physical destruction, deliberate damage, or loss.
If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA you have 14 days from delivery to withdraw from the purchase. Because these are security devices, returns are accepted only where the product is unused and the tamper-evident packaging is intact — a card that has been activated cannot be resold and cannot be returned. Contact us before sending anything back. Return shipping is at your cost unless the item was defective.
Nothing on this site or from our support is investment advice, a price prediction, or a recommendation to buy or sell any asset. We sell hardware that secures keys. What you choose to hold is entirely your own decision.
We are liable for delivering a product that works as described, and for our own negligence, to the extent Swedish law provides. We are not liable for losses arising from lost or destroyed backup cards, from your own handling of your keys, from transactions you authorise, from third-party wallets, exchanges or networks, or from changes in the value of any asset.
These terms are governed by Swedish law. If you are a consumer, this does not remove any mandatory protection you have under the law of your own country of residence.
